About the Uganda Compass
What is the Uganda Compass?
The Uganda Compass offers a curated collection resources, materials, and guidelines that have been designed for and implemented in Uganda. The collection offers materials and resources that have been reviewed to ensure it was developed using the best practices of SBC, as well as government policies and guidelines that guide your SBC projects in Uganda. The Uganda Compass is connected to the Global Compass, which offers SBC resources from the global community.

Welcome to the Uganda Compass.
The Ministry of Health is delighted to share the Uganda Compass for Health Promotion, a repository of resources, policies, and social and behavior change interventions implemented in Uganda. As the first of its kind, this platform will standardize and convene partners within the SBC field to create a curation of the best SBC interventions that have been implemented in Uganda. Each resource on this website has been approved by the Ministry of Health to guide your health promotion programs in Uganda.
We encourage everyone working in health promotion to review and use the materials on the Uganda Compass to guide you in adapting and designing new social and behavior change campaigns, activities, and interventions.
Thank you,
Dr. Richard Kabanda
Commissioner, The Department of Health Promotion, Education, and Communication
