Time Up HIV Radio Spot – Viral Load Suppression
Year of Publication: 2024
The Time Up HIV campaign is an evidence-driven initiative aligned with the UNAIDS goal of ending the AIDS epidemic by 2030 and achieving the 95-95-95 HIV treatment targets. Grounded in national policies and guidelines, the campaign was co-designed through collaborative workshops and audience-centered sessions, addressing priorities across the HIV cascade, including HIV Testing Services (HTS), prevention, care, treatment, and GBV prevention. With a focus on key components: HTS, PrEP, DREAMS, VMMC, PMTCT, cervical cancer screening, and HIV care and treatment, the campaign promotes high-impact messages around risk perception, testing and starting treatment, risk reduction, adherence, mental health, and viral load suppression. Additionally, it tackles cross-cutting issues like stigma reduction, gender-based violence (GBV), violence against children (VAC), and family and community support systems, to promote an enabling environment for improved HIV outcomes—the Time Up HIV Campaign Run from December 2021 to date.
