Let’s Change Our Stories: Posters-English
Year of Publication: 2023
The Ministry of Health in Uganda, with support from USAID, launched the Let’s Change Our Stories campaign to raise awareness of Gender Based Violence (GBV) and to call for action if anyone is experiencing it. GBV is any verbal or physical act that results in body, psychological, sexual, and economic harm to somebody because of their gender.
Women and girls are particularly vulnerable to experiencing GBV. The campaign includes posters, banners, radio spots, and videos on the different forms of GBV to encourage timely reporting and response. In addition, the campaign aims to highlight how GBV affects individuals, children, families, communities, and the nation.
